研究概况

多媒体应用将朝着网络化、交互性和真实感的方向发展,我的研究工作期望解决3D视频的获取表示、编码传输、显示交互中的基础问题,实现3D视频的互联网应用,取得了如下成果:

1. 异构对等网络流媒体技术方向:采用统计/随机建模的方法为应用层组播建立了统计链路模型,发现了相邻应用层链路的拥塞状态具有马尔可夫特性;根据对实际点播系统和P2P直播系统的日志研究,发现并阐述了用户当前在线时间与其预期在线时间的行为模型,提出一种具有低分裂特性的组播树构造算法;从理论上分析了基于拉模式的P2P流媒体算法的带宽利用近似最优性,并且提出基于推拉结合的算法,保持带宽利用最优,大幅降低了延迟和控制开销。

2. 多视点/3D视频编码与流化方向:提出一种支持视点随机访问的多视点视频编码方案和相关算法,在降低视点切换延迟的前提下,编码效率较传统多路视频独立编码提高2-3db;应用有向无环图的理论,提出了基于多核处理器体系结构的多视点视频编码时空数据并行算法,能够在多种硬件平台上获得接近线性的加速比;通过合理抽象多媒体应用和多核处理器的关键特质,提出了首个多核媒体处理任务调度评价体系模型,具有精准的估测效果;利用视点间数据的相关性,提出了一种基于混合结构覆盖网络的大规模多视点视频协作传输框架与关键技术,能够提供具有延迟保证的服务质量和大规模系统扩展能力;最后,基于以上研究成果设计实现一个面向网络直播/点播的自由视点3DTV原型系统。
