研究概况

研究方向为存储系统,目前主要关注闪存存储系统、内存存储与计算、可编程分布式存储、存储安全与可靠性等方面。

在闪存存储系统方面,2010年开始“重构闪存存储”的研究,突破了传统基于FTL的SSD存储系统结构,提出了基于裸闪存的软件直管闪存的思想,后来被称为Open-Channel SSD。相关论文于2013年和2014年连续两年在本领域顶级会议FAST上发表,引起国内外学术界和工业界的关注。2016年,Linux社区开始支持该闪存存储结构。近年来,该存储结构在业界(公有云、移动终端等多个领域)逐渐得到使用。

在内存存储与计算方面,作为提出持久型内存一致性的早期工作之一,分析了持久性内存中CPU缓存对存储一致性的影响,分别从硬件顺序性和软件持久性级别提出了相应方法。相关论文发表于ICCD’14、 MSST’15、TOS、TPDS等,获得MSST 2015最佳论文提名奖。2015年基于RDMA与NVM启动分布式持久内存存储系统的研究,基于RDMA与NVM重构了分布式文件系统(USENIX ATC‘17),相比传统大数据处理系统的性能提升明显,获得了国内外来自金融、IT等多家公司的关注。
